We have successfully transitioned 90% of our cookware to cast iron. It took some learning and getting used to. One of the things that helped the most… lard! The lard we rendered down from our pigs has been the absolute best to cook with, season and keep our cast iron in the best condition. If you’re doing steps 1&2 right and your food is still sticking try reseasoning your pan. It’s very simple. Set your oven to 450°. Wash your pan and scrub it out good! Set it in the oven for 3 minutes to dry.
