Gravel bags a new track record at Eldora!

These are the types of roads that we have in Antarctica. Some are gravel and nicely graded, others are ice and rather bumpy. The frequency of use dictates how well maintained they are, with several of these roads used only once or twice a year, there’s no need to spend the effort making them perfect. The road between Scott Base and McMurdo is used multiple times each day, so that is regularly maintained to make sure it is safe. | Matty Jordan Antarctica
