I installed Windows 10 ARM to look if i can play YouTube Videos with it. (With Edge) But it can‘t…..it didnt even load the site properly. It‘s a fun thing to do…..but not worth the work.

I cannot understand why MS let this Tablet die. Only problem is, you know that, the Browser. Since the Win 10 Setup, the Edge Browser works "ok", but i have reached its limits very early.

Yes, there are some alternate OS available for Surface RT. Some flavors of Linux, particularly Raspberry OS, and Android AOSP. All of them have some limitations about the CPU or drivers, they are much less usable than Windows 10. Don't know much about Chrome OS, latest builds only support ARM64 so I will have to dig a little over that.

However, this Recovery Environment only recognizes Windows 10 for recovery, but what is in the USB is Windows RT 8.1.

2021年1月27日 · Yes, Unofficially you can get Windows 10 15035 on the RT and RT 2. I've currently got this running on both of my RT and RT 2's, it's certainly slower than Windows 8/RT but is usable and there's a community behind porting apps and things over.
