2005年11月7日 · As we all know vinyl is some tough stuff, vinyl upholstery is not. There is no acid in it, in fact the bottle says it is an alkaline cleaner. I would soap it off, rinse, dry and apply 303 for protection, especially UV protection [as alluded to on the Spray 9 label]. Much of the vinyl upholstery out there has a very thin clear vinyl top coat.

After every tour we do boat is full with pink stains where the people where sitting or leaning on and it need strong stuff to get rid of it. Spray sunscreen ist just dumb, less inside, more expensive, no advantage and will dye the whole bpat, especially if dumb people use the can at 30 knots....

Go to your local upholstery shop and see if you can match the OEM vinyl. You might even find something you like better. Here is a refit I did to a customers Scout, complete with OEM embroidery:

I suppose a snap-in carpet system might work well, but I'd prefer just a solid surface. Our first pontoon boat had a plywood deck that we repainted a few times with a non-skid type deck paint.
