Timberlock is a rustic resort that enables its guests to connect to the magnificent lakeside setting and focus on time with family and friends, without the distractions of today’s fast paced life. It is one of the oldest summer family resorts in the Adirondacks, surrounded in all directions by miles of New York State Forest Preserve.
Timberlock’s buildings are linked only by footpaths. Upon arrival, staff tote in your baggage and cars are parked at a central spot that’s easily accessible. All have comfortable, hotel-style firm beds, freshly made with adequate blankets.
Instruction from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Afternoons to enjoy all that Timberlock has to offer including boating, hiking or just relaxing and enjoying the spectacular views. Cost $216 per night per person (includes cabin with a bath, three delicious meals daily*).
Our Story your hosts,The Catlin family, have owned and operated Timberlock since 1963. Bruce and Holly Catlin are the current owners. Their three children, Caroline, Gus and Nick have all worked on staff and still help out when visiting.
