Is there a way to play old NYT Sudokus? : r/sudoku - Reddit
2024年1月26日 · I’ve gotten really into the nyt games app and started doing their sudoku puzzles. For most of their games (wordle, connections, spelling bee through the app, Minis, crossword) you can either find the old ones online or the paid ones through the app. Afaik the sudoku is free, and it shouldn’t be hard for a 3rd party to copy and host sudokus.

2020年3月11日 · I am not but I was under the impression that only the crosswords and other games - basically everything BUT the sudoku - were archived. Can you (or anyone!) confirm whether the NYT Games subscription gives you access to year-old sudokus going back over a year? Update: Just got a subscription and indeed, only the Crosswords are archived.

2019年9月18日 · I actually enjoy easy sudoku, sometimes I do them without any candidate notation but I found I wanted to use the same procedure for all. Never need more than double dotting with easy and medium and sometimes hard, referring to the Dell cheap magazines. To me, it is mind training. Focus, clarity, and patience. One step at a time.

2023年5月24日 · I just wanted to take a moment of appreciation for the NYT Sudoku. I feel like it’s the best app format I’ve found and I look forward to it every morning. It’s my favorite way to gradually ease into starting the day. That being said, I am so sad that there are only 3 puzzles daily and the hardest level only takes me about 25 minutes.

2023年1月2日 · Got really into the NYT sudoku the last 3 months and have also noticed this. If I’m working through puzzles I do my best not to close out of the app because it won’t refresh unless you close it. At least that has been my experience.

2022年7月24日 · I’m a new NYT Games subscriber and still getting the hang of it, but for some reason Sudoku is the one that’s giving me trouble. Does it not save game play like Spelling Bee or Crossword? If I finish a puzzle and then go back to it during the day, my Easy level one saved but Medium and Hard reset as if I hadn’t played them.

2023年6月19日 · The NYT hints often don't seem to make much sense. Look at the 6 in block 5 (centre block) and see what that means for block 2 and 8. That should solve a cell in block 8, which will allow solving the highlighted cell.
