FYI. I have seen many tires from Costco start out with tread depths around 8/32 of an inch. These tires are usually tires made from a major manufacturer, like Michelin for example. The tires are usually exclusive to Costco and not available anywhere else. A similar tire from another retailer would start out at about 11/32 of an inch.
