2021年8月4日 · Meanwhile, my Autonomous ergo pro plus is nice, and I like the flexibility of the backrest, but to me, the rest of it feels cheaply made. The armrests are on par with my son's $100 gaming chair, and the tilt mechanism feels cheaply made and doesn't even have synchro tilt. You can find better tilt mechanisms on chairs half the price.

It's adjustable but not to the degree of an Aeron or so, and the worst bit is that the cushion bottoms out easy after some time and is painful to sit in nowadays. For my height the ergo 2 doesn't sink low enough to have my feet resting flat on the ground, and the recline lock is iffy and has a bit of give to it.

Great advice. And I'd argue that spending 100, hell, 200 bucks on a used quality chair from reputed brands is a much better option. I bought 4 chairs (2 Steelcase, Please and Leap v2, and 2 Haworth Zodies) for about 75% what one of them would cost new.

2022年5月8日 · I've been using Ergochair 2 but got an issue somewhere. Autonomous send me the spare parts (backrest and control mechanism), so I'm trying to replace these parts. But the problem is replacing the control mechanism: I need to remove the gas lift but I cannot do that.

It's also been sold under other brand names, it's a poorly reviewed chair but they pay small channels to promote it a lot on youtube. Google autonomous on this subreddit and you'll see examples of the negative reviews.
