2024年1月21日 · I was shooting at an indoor range a few years back,,, They wouldn't allow any picture targets at all,,, The owner said it was actually illegal to do. At the time the targets that were popular were O'Bummer,,, He said there was a law forbidding shooting at presidential images. I doubt that it was "law",,, But again, just in very bad taste.

2013年7月16日 · The Wildlife management areas, and corps of engineers land around most reservior's, are not open for plinking/target shooting. Only during hunting seasons. Reason is a safety issue. Some idiot would be trying to pop turtle heads with ski boats in the background, etc.

2024年6月24日 · About 15yesrs ago when I was first getting into shooting steel I witnessed a buddy dang near blow his top lip off and and cut his gums after shooting .556 way to close on a dualing tree (another situation like plate racks, vertical targets with no down downward angle). A piece of copper jacket flew back and got him.

That's ok because I really don't want people that are new and saw a few youtube vids, quick draw and drawing and shooting from concealment. Outdoors I do with 4 targets at 5 yards. Four set up within range of direct and peripheral sight and one outside peripheral vision.

2018年1月2日 · We will set targets to desired distances if needed. We are capable of shooting paper out to 800 yards but generally only shoot paper to 300 yards and then move to steel targets. We will help spot for shooters and help troubleshoot any problems. We can also arrange shooting courses thru a third party.We can do half day or full day shoots.

2017年2月26日 · You are right, I'm sorry. I didn't think to include the size of the squares on the targets I posted. The first target (the top one - baker targets.com) the squares are 1/2", so 4 squares equals 1" x 1". On the smaller target, the squares are smaller, and each square is about 1/3 of an inch, so 9 squares (3 across, and 3 down) equals 1' x 1".

2016年3月3日 · Steel targets every hundred yards to 1200 yds. My guys are 300 yds max. No targets what so ever. Oh and the 300 hundred yard shooting Lane is about eight feet wide. That's eighty a year. My range in Kansas was 150 a year multiple lanes to five hundred. No targets. And I had to apply for membership and wait until someone died off to be accepted.
