As you use your controller, friction causes this resistive track to wear which changes that resistance value. Eventually it gets so far off from the calibrated settings to cause problems. Recalibrating with this script will change what resistance the controller thinks is the center to this new "worn out" value fixing the problem.

I've tried every fix i can find: Connecting my controller both wired and wireless, Disabling and reactivating the device in device manager, removing the device in device manager, and using multiple cables. ds4 is fully up to date and any correct drivers are installed.

Turn on controller (for me at this stage the controller worked as normal while connected with the wire) Disconnect the USB cable (PC should lose connection to the controller and the controller should turn off) Put the controller back in pairing mode, and then pair it from the PC one last time.

2022年7月11日 · i obviously recommend the switch pro controller, and other 3rd party switch controllers that support motion controls like “Power A”. Either those or the dualshock/sense controllers. For the mouse input i’m sure it’s possible but i don’t see how it could work very well.

2020年11月23日 · Xbox Series controller gets recognised by the game with zero configuration, no issues. PS5 controller does not. Even with Steam beta, launched through Big picture, no luck. Other games at least receive the emulated Xbox inputs via Steam, even vibrations work. Did anyone figure out how to make the DualSense working in RDR2?
