Paige Bueckers’s transition to the WNBA has been a whirlwind, but lessons learned at UConn are sticking with her on the Dallas Wings.

Paige Bueckers finished her career at UConn as a national champion after only losing three games in 2024-25. She is now joining the Dallas Wings in the WNBA, and she knows her expectations need to change as she begins her rookie year.

In her first preseason game against the Las Vegas Aces, Bueckers scored 10 points on 4-of-7 shooting, including two three-pointers, in 23 minutes. She also grabbed four rebounds. The Wings got routed by the Aces, 112-78.
