Tuggle was previously planning to transfer, but announced his change of heart in a social media post. “Now let’s stop asking. Go Dawgs,” said Tuggle on social media. In Tuggle’s post is a video of someone saying “I am not going anywhere”.

This isn't the first time a Georgia player has made a similar move under head coach Kirby Smart. UGA cornerbacks Julian Humphrey and Daniel Harris briefly tested the portal in 2023 before deciding to return to Athens.
