Elon Musk’s rocket launch site in Boca Chica has officially incorporated as Starbase, a company town run by SpaceX employees.

Starbase may sound like some sort of galactic outpost located in the far reaches of space, but in fact, it's just the newest city in Texas.

The site is where SpaceX conducts the launches of its Starship rockets, which are at the center of its ambitions to launch missions to the moon and Mars.
