Federal investigators are cautiously searching the warehouse site because of the risk from unexploded materials.

A raging fire at a fireworks facility in Northern California that caused a massive explosion was still burning and is now a criminal investigation.

The Yolo County Sheriff’s Office reported Wednesday that the cause of the explosion remains unknown and that it’s still an active evacuation zone around the property. Footage of the area shows a destroyed facility.
