South Florida native Harun Abdul-Malik Yener was charged with attempted use of an explosive to damage or destroy a building used in interstate commerce.

Harun Abdul-Malik Yener was charged after an undercover investigation by the F.B.I. into his alleged desire to join extremist groups and carry out violent attacks, according to a criminal complaint.

Harun Abdul-Malik Yener, 30, of Coral Springs, in Broward County, was charged with attempting to use an explosive device to damage or destroy a building.
