Ubisoft has caught a lot of flak from PC gamers over their uPlay system, online-authentication DRM that most recently came to attention for being unavailable at exactly the wrong time.

Ubisoft has shut down its Uplay PC download service today after hackers discovered an exploit that allows games to be downloaded for free, including the highly rumored Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon.

The games will then be added to your account automatically. In order to actually play the games, you will have to download Ubisoft's Uplay PC software, which is like a poor man's Steam.
