UConn star Paige Bueckers made history Saturday by becoming the first collegiate basketball player to receive a Nike sneaker release - and her teammates went all-out to show their support. The No. 2 Huskies trounced the Louisville Cardinals 85-52 Saturday to remain undefeated,

Paige Bueckers' released sneaker collaboration with Nike. The shoes went on sale Saturay and were worn by UConn women's basketball team.

Bueckers’ Nike G.T. Hustle 3, the first basketball sneaker created by a college player in the Name, Image and Likeness era, is scheduled to drop Dec. 7 on the SNKRS app and will be available at select retail locations.

In August, Bueckers also signed an NIL deal with Unrivaled, the new winter 3×3 professional league co-founded by Breanna Stewart and Napheesa Collier. She became the first NCAA athlete to receive ownership equity in a league. She is expected to play in the league next year.

There was a lot of blue and purple on the court in Saturday's game against Louisville because several of her teammates showed support by also repping the shoe.
