ThirtyGrandDelight: Pixton Comics Inc has won a $30,000 prize for winning a new business competition in British Columbia, BCIC-New Ventures Competition.

Pixton allows users to choose from a library of characters and characteristics (hairstyles, mouth shapes, expressions, etc.) to create comics in panels that can be configured in various ways.

Pixton has evolved quickly from featuring characters with stick arms and legs to providing Adobe Flash-based tools that let people create slick, professional-looking comics.
