AVENDALE Old Parish Church members performed a Scottish medley at a recent church hall meeting and were treated to some inspiring poems on Scottish life.

Entrance is free and everybody is welcome. Poems can be read in any language. 11 June: Misrah 13 ta’ Dicembru, Zejtun (behind the parish church) 7pm. In collaboration with Zejtun local council.

Area singers and musicians will present “Canticle of the Cross” on Saturday and Sunday, April 12-13, weaving music together with Scripture, prayer and poetry. Everyone is welcome.
