Former England rugby international Tom Voyce is missing and feared dead after his car was recovered from a flood-swollen river, police said Tuesday.

Searches to locate the missing ex-Gloucester Rugby and Bath player Tom Voyce are ongoing. It was announced yesterday (December 10) that Tom was presumed dead after attempting to cross a flood-swollen river during Storm Darragh. The 43-year-old's car has been recovered from the River Aln, near Alnwick, Northumberland, but Tom has yet to be found. It is believed in his attempts to escape, he has been swept away and tragically died.
