Specialty outdoor retailer REI Co-op has its fourth Utah store on track to open in 2026 in St. George. The 22,800-square-foot store will be located at St. George Place on 855 S. Bluff St.

Specialty outdoor retailer REI Co-op has its 11th Colorado store on track to open late this summer in Durango. The 22,000-square-foot store was built south of the downtown corridor at 40 Turner Drive.

Durango, Colorado (opens in August) REI also revealed the press release that it will open new stores in Prosper, Texas and St. George, Utah in 2026, along with a relocation in Eugene, Oregon.

The locations — including Chico and Elk Grove in California —were chosen for cities near outdoor recreation landmarks, REI vice president of stores Mary-Farrell Tarbox said in the press release.
