During his time suiting up for the Celtics, Farbman wore only jersey No. 8, and put up 3.4 points and just under an assist per game.

During his time suiting up for the Nets, Garnett wore only jersey No. 2, and put up 6.6 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game.

During his time suiting up for Seattle, Love wore only jersey No. 10, and put up 4.1 points and 2.7 rebounds per game.

During his time suiting up for the Dubs, Brooks wore only Jersey No. 2, and put up 6.4 points, 1.7 assists, and 1.2 steals per game.

The first of those eight players to wear No. 9 did so in the Seattle SuperSonics era, shooting guard alum Norton Barnhill. After ending his collegiate career at Washington State, Barnhill was picked up with the 134th overall selection of the 1976 NBA draft (there were many more rounds in that era) by the SuperSonics.
