Thunderstorms with nickel-sized hail in Central Alabama Friday – winds gusting up to 40 mph
A weather alert was issued by the National Weather Service on Friday at 2:52 p.m. for strong thunderstorms until 3:30 p.m. for Shelby, Talladega and Coosa counties.
