Minden will be the site for auditions July 14 for students from first through 12th grades for "Hercules!" roles. The play will be performed at the opera house July 19.

July Fourth crab feasts, rooftop parties and a hot-dog-eating contest are on the agenda, along with outdoor movies, concerts and festivals.
