WASHINGTON – The U.S. Food and Drug Administration issued a warning urging consumers to stop using a botanical weight loss product that appears to contain a highly toxic poisonous plant.

EXAMINATION of past records of yields of tung trees and rainfall in corresponding periods has given rise to a hypothesis to explain the cause of biennial bearing, to which this crop is prone.
