Kevin Owens explained why he has a problem with Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes, and Cody challenged him to a fight. On the November 15 episode of WWE SmackDown, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes called Kevin Owens out after Owens took Randy Orton out with a piledriver.

WWE has issued a response to a lawsuit against them and Cody Rhodes alleging trademark infringement and breach of settlement. In recent court filings and as reported by Post Wrestling, WWE and it's merchandise partner Fanatics motioned to dismiss the suit due to the fact that the "American Nightmare" moniker in question is used in conjunction with the Rhodes skull logo and thus does not violate previous agreements with the plaintiff.

Kevin Owens and Cody Rhodes came face-to-face on the November 22nd episode of WWE SmackDown, with both men giving their side of the story over what has transpired since WWE Bad Blood.

Cody Rhodes became the iconic face of WWE after winning the world title at WrestleMania XL, an epic feat in which he defeated a legend like Roman Reigns in the most important event of the entire WWE calendar.
