A Samsung rep has made quite a bold claim about its thin phone. The S25 Edge, which you might think of as the lightweight version of the S25, S25+, or S25 Ultra, is actually a "flagship" model. That's according to an interview with our colleagues at Tom's Guide published this week.

A Samsung executive explained some of the choices that were made with the Galaxy S25 Edge in a new interview. When discussing the battery capacity, the executive claims that customers just want “all-day” battery life.

Still, that doesn’t mean the Galaxy S25 Edge is a bad device. Its form factor is, indeed, pretty appealing once it’s in your hands, and the specs on offer are perfectly reasonable for a $1,100 phone.
