Top Rank announced that undefeated WBC bantamweight champion Junto Nakatani will face fellow undefeated IBF bantamweight champion Ryosuke Nishida on June 8 at the Ariake Coliseum in Tokyo, Japan.

The bantamweight division is full of top-tier talent. Junto Nakatani vs. Ryosuke Nishida looks to prove that when they compete for the IBF and WBC titles on June 8. The fight in Japan airs on ESPN+.

Junto Nakatani had to go through three weight divisions just to get to his first unification bout, so it was a sigh of relief when Ryosuke Nishida accepted right away.

On Sunday, June 8, at the Ariake Colosseum in Tokyo, Junto Nakatani vs Ryosuke Nishida will headline a Top Rank fight card in association with Teiken Promotions and M.T Boxing Gym.

After all, if Nishida were to derail any penciled-in plans for Nakatani, yet another Japanese fighter would find themselves injected into the sport’s highest tier of competitors.
