The Rams earned the No. 10 seed in their first NCAA appearance in 39 years, while the Wildcats bounced back to win their final four games and snipe the No. 16 spot.

URI is seeded No. 10 in the national tournament, and will host Northeast Conference champion Central Connecticut State (7-5) at noon Nov. 30.

Two out of every five households in Rhode Island have difficulty affording adequate food and are food insecure, according to a new report released by the Rhode Island Community Food Bank. The report,

According to the report, "38% of Rhode Island households are food insecure, with higher rates among communities of color." The report last year found one in three households is impacted by food insecurity. Leaders will be speaking with reporters on Monday about this year's findings with the holiday season underway.

Communities of color experience limited or uncertain access to food at higher rates than their white counterparts, according to the 2024 Status Report on Hunger in Rhode Island.
