Flag football is slated to be introduced as an Olympic sport when the Summer Games come to Los Angeles in 2028. During the NFL's annual meeting on Tuesday, commissioner Roger Goodell made it clear that the league's players want to compete in the inaugural event.

Sony announced Tuesday that the brand's Hawk-Eye technology will be used "as the primary method for measuring the line to gain" during the 2025 NFL season. The Hawk-Eye system uses cameras to measure yardage gains.
