Former Chicago White Sox right-hander Lucas Giolito looked sharp in his long-awaited debut for the Boston Red Sox on Wednesday night.

The 30-year-old had a solid outing in his first appearance since October 1 of 2023 when he was a member of the Cleveland Guardians. Giolito went six innings with three runs allowed (all earned) on five hits, two walks, seven strikeouts, but he did allow two home runs.
