Moving Day at the 2025 John Deere Classic featured some chaos, as there were eight tied for the lead at one point thanks to gusty winds that made it difficult to score, but as the final groups made their way around TPC Deere Run we saw five players create some separation from the pack.

A year ago, Davis Thompson won the event for his first PGA Tour victory. He was the 24th golfer to make the JDC his first PGA Tour win. He is in contention once again at TPC Deere Run, tied for second, a shot back, in his effort to defend his title. Last week's winner, Aldrich Potgieter, started the third round three shots off the lead.

David Thompson owns the solo lead entering the final round of the John Deere Classic, and he shares the importance of remaining "patient" in order to stick to his game plan.
