Donald Trump said he isn't ready to say goodbye to Elon Musk yet as he is set to leave DOGE on May 30. He said Musk can stay at the White House "as long as he'd like".

Elon Musk will likely wrap up his work on the Department of Government Efficiency at the end of May due to his employment as a "special government employee."

Tesla CEO Elon Musk acknowledged that his role in the Trump Administration with the Department of Government Efficiency, or DOGE, is weighing on the electric vehicle maker's stock, calling his advisory role "a very expensive job.
