The Tigers’ bats stayed hot in the second game of the homestand. After putting up seven on the White Sox in their home opener on Friday afternoon, Detroit did not let a chill cool them off on Saturday. The Tigers scored seven runs in the first three innings and managed to coast the rest of the way to a 7-2 victory.

With the win on Wednesday, the Athletics have secured a series win against the White Sox in Chicago, thanks to some timely hitting and another solid start from Osvaldo Bido.
