Why has Aaron Rodgers not signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers just yet? It turns out there is likely a very real reason for that. The Athletic’s NFL insider Dianna Russini believes that the holdup remains money.

“I think Aaron is secretly still holding out for Minnesota—which is why he hasn’t signed with the Steelers," Roethlisberger said on his podcast, “Footbahlin with Ben Roethlisberger. Why else would you go throw with DK and working out, and blast it to everybody that ‘I’m throwing to these guys,’ but you won’t sign?”

Speaking to The Athletic's Mike Sando, one league executive said they "can’t think of a worse combination" for Rodgers than playing with DK Metcalf, George Pickens and working with offensive coordinator Arthur Smith.
